Hard grind - april 2020
when you want to capture the essence and personality of each barber, what do you focus on?
THE BRIEF
To film 5 barber showcase videos to demonstrate each barbers skills at Hard Grind Aberdeen. I worked closely with each barber to make their video unique to them.
NATHAN.
Starting with the head barber and shop manager, Nathan. A charismatic, talented and confident man who’s lived many lives before this one. Working with him on this project really was the beginning of my videography career.
TUCK.
Second in line, David Tuck, a man who’s personality and charisma would have you believing he was twice as tall as he was… But none the less of a legend in that shop with regular clients always coming to see him.
Oliver.
Sweet and cheerful Oliver always with a smile on his face. Hailing from Glasgow, his technique and craft kept his clients cuts looking sharp and fresh.
Caolan.
Quick as a whip with his Irish tongue, Caolan’s clients can hopefully keep up with him - I jest - he works fast though to provides his clients with the latest cuts and trends.
EUAN.
The fresh out of Barber School apprentice, Euan. However, very skilled for his amount of time in the profession he’s been handling various client requests with ease through his teacher Tuck.
